Thee Pregame Show recently caught up with Tyler “Roc” Brown during summer conditioning at Colorado. The first thing that our Uncle Neely noticed was Brown’s body transformation since he transferred in from Jackson State.
“Oh, yeah, it’s the amazing nutrition we have, thankful to chef. Coach Mo’s a phenomenal strength coach. Just putting in the work and the extra time just to be able to run this high tempo offense. So I just really emphasize on my breaks, just nutrition and running conditioning and staying in shape, to have my body a certain weight so I can be at my best for the team,” Brown said.
The work has not slipped by the watchful eye of head coach Deion Sanders. During a recent conditioning session Sanders decided to pit Brown against the fastest defensive lineman on the team in a foot race. The two squared off for a 30 yard dash and the teammates were asked to predict a winner ahead of time. The caveat being if you sided with the loser of the race you would have to do ten up-downs.
The race was a super tight finish, and you can check out the video above to see who won. While it was all in fun, it was also a chance for Sanders to reinforce that everything is a competition.
This video takes you deep into the drills and workouts for the CU offensive lineman. It gives you an opportunity to see some of the personalities of the men that will be charged with protecting Shedeur Sanders this fall.
