As the pressure continues to pile on, Deion Sanders has the highest faith in his son and the quarterback of his team, Shedeur Sanders.
The Buffs’ schedule still has many tough games ahead but Sanders knows this is part of the process. After yet another painful and close loss to the University of Southern California, people are curious as to how Shedeur is handling the pressures as a D1 quarterback and leader of the team.
Sanders knows what his son is made of.
He’s Very Mature
“Well, his nickname in my phone and, most of you know this, is Grown,” Sanders said.
Sanders admits that though the losses may sting, Shedeur is handling the pressure well and performing fantastically.
“He’s very mature for his age,” he said. “He’s very confident. He don’t flinch. He never gets flustered. He’s the most sacked quarterback in college football and you couldn’t tell with the way he carries himself.”
I’m Proud to be His Father
Sanders doesn’t shy away from singing his praises of Shedeur, both on and off the field.
“He’s a dynamic athlete and a dynamic young man,” he said. “I’m proud to be his father and his coach.”
The Buffs are now 3-2 for the season. Despite this, Sanders is confident the team will make changes to bounce back from another loss.
