As the bye week comes to a close, Deion Sanders and the Buffs are now preparing to get back into the swing of things.
Though a sense of freshness is in the air, Sanders is adamant about maintaining routine with his players.
We Need to Maintain and Keep on Going
Sanders and The Buffs have hit some bumps along the road and the season is still far from over. With this in mind, Sanders wants his team to not get away from what is expected in their daily routines.
“We need to maintain and keep on going,” he said. “Yeah, it’s like you break up in a relationship, you get a bye week, you keep on going. I want to keep on going, I want to keep moving, I want to keep on progressing. I want to keep on going forward. So I’m built to go forward.”
Getting a Couple Players Back From Injuries
Sanders also mentioned news that a few players will be returning from injuries.
“We didn’t have many injuries,” he said. “I think we’re going to get a couple of players back due to injuries, but overall I think we’ve been pretty good injury wise”.
Now that the bye week is over, Sanders and the Buffs prepare for their next game against number 23 ranked UCLA. Could fresh legs and back to normal business be what the Buffs need to turn out their season back in high spirits? Only time will tell.
