Last Saturday’s battle in Folsom Field between Coach Deion Sanders‘ Colorado Buffaloes and the Oregon State Beavers was one for the ages. After Prime openly criticized his offensive lineman after their horrid performance against the UCLA Bruins, news circulated all throughout last week of the different offensive linemen that were either ready to commit to his team or were preparing to visit during this home game.
Top Recruits and Celebrities in Attendance
The top Junior College transfer in this upcoming recruitment class Issiah Walker Jr. announced his commitment to CU 48 hours after Coach Prime’s statement, and it was revealed later in the week that five-star tackle from IMG Academy Jordan Seaton would be in attendance for the Oregon State game as well.
While there were several other big-name recruits at the game, there was no shortage of celebrity appearances — a reality we’ve come to know all too well throughout the course of this season. Master P, hip-hop mogul who has been very vocal of the Coach Prime movement at CU, was in attendance for a second time in Folsom Field.
A Coach Prime Surprise from Master P
This time, he popped out with a surprise. Uncle Neely caught up with the artist and he revealed a collaboration with him, Sanders, and Snoop Dogg — Sanders’ own cereal box.
“I came back this time to celebrate, let me show you something,” he said. “This is Prime Time, y’know what I’m saying? Honey-O Snax. Prime Time Honey-O Snax. They didn’t put him on the Wheaties box but me and Snoop put him on the Snoop Cereal box. We changing the game the same way he’s doing.”
