After last week’s defeat at UCLA, Deion Sanders is preparing his offense even more for this weekend’s showdown.
Along with this, he addresses how the staff and offense will make changes to better protect their star QB, Shedeur Sanders.
He’s Doing Well Mentally, Physically, & Spiritually
Shedeur Sanders took some hard hits against UCLA last week, however, Deion Sanders ensures that his son is doing fine and recovering well.
“He’s good,” he said. “I’m thinking to give him another day or so off so he can heal properly and so he could be his best. We want his best. And he’s doing well mentally, physically, as well as psychologically.”
I Believe in the Staff that We Have on Hand
Sanders also spoke on the meetings he’s had with both his staff and offensive line.
“I believe in the staff that we have on hand,” he said. “I have the utmost faith in them. Also, I had a private, personal meeting with the whole offensive line and the meeting was phenomenal. I have the utmost thought process that those guys are going to step it up tremendously and you’re going to see a more cohesive, more aggressive, more physical, more prepared group than ever before this weekend. I really do believe that.”
