The romantic relationship between Colorado head coach Deion Sanders and entertainment mogul Tracey Edmonds has come to an end. The two announced via Instagram that they’ve decided to move forward as just friends.
“To EVERYONE who has been there for us, supported us, and shown us love…
We have mutually decided that it is best for us to move forward in life AS FRIENDS and have made this decision with love in our hearts, respect for each other, and appreciation for the time we’ve shared together. Please keep us in your prayers as we go through this transition. Thank you for being there for us ALL THESE YEARS! We love you and appreciate you SO MUCH! 🙏🏽❤️,” Edmonds posted to her IG account.

The statement contained “Tracey and Deion” at the bottom signaling the solidarity of the announcement. Sanders confirmed as much by adding a comment to the post.
“Love u Tracey and You’ve been a true blessing to me. I appreciate the times we’ve shared and they laughs we’ve had. You are an amazing woman and a tremendous mother. God bless u with every endeavor and every step u take. You are HER. Tracey-Mack !!!,” Sanders posted.
The reaction from celebrities immediately came pouring in. Porsha Guobadia from Real Housewives of Atlanta fame chimed in.
“You are an amazing woman and such an inspiration. I’ll continue to pray continue to pray for you both,” she wrote.
“Sending love to you both,” wrote Shaunie Henderson, the former wife of Shaquille O’Neal.

Edmonds could often be seen supporting Sanders during his time at Jackson State when his college coaching career started. Edmonds was even intent on rebooting the “College Hill” reality franchise at the Jackson State campus before eventually settling in at Texas Southern. The series was produced by Edmonds Entertainment.
Fans may also remember Edmonds touring the Colorado campus with Sanders after his initial hiring and a romantic dinner on campus with Coach Prime for his birthday.
For now, the couple has decided that friendship is the route for the future.
