Don’t expect to give less than 100 percent in workouts and drills with Tersoo Uhaa, Colorado’s assistant strength and conditioning coach.
Uhaa, the right-hand man to Buffaloes director of football and sports performance Maurice Sims, doesn’t allow players to cut corners and prides himself on watching players execute the details. “Making sure guys are finishing [drills],” Uhaa said. “The more I can give these guys… give them an upper hand, give them a chance to win. That’s what I want to do.”
Entering his second season at Colorado, Tersoo Uhaa primarily deals with strength and conditioning but also crafts workouts tailored for Colorado’s tight ends, running backs, inside/outside linebackers. He also orchestrates nutrition plans and leads corrective measures for the Buffaloes’ pre and post workout sessions.
Prior to his position at Colorado, Uhaa was an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Georgia, a job he accepted in 2020. Before his stop in Athens, Uhaa worked with the Texas Tech men’s basketball program. Uhaa also spent time at Tennessee State University, where he was the director of strength and conditioning for the Tigers.
