Coach Deion Sanders‘ top priority for the Buffs right now is winning. As he addressed the media, Sanders took the time to state how little he cares for a bowl game currently, because the road to getting there is performing every week to a high standard.
We Want to Win
With the Buffs currently sitting at a record of 4-2, Sanders is more determined than ever to lead his team to the best possible outcome for this season.
“We want to win,” Sanders said. “I don’t give a dern about no bowl right now, we want to win. If that’s part of the package at the conclusion of the season of winning, I’m all for it.”
One of My Least Concerns
Sanders spoke on enjoying being able to compete in bowl games during his playing career.
“Thank God when I was in college we had the opportunity to go to four straight bowl games,” he said. “Me and my teammates enjoyed it, they had wonderful packages and bags full of gear and all sorts of things, surprises for you. It was a great time, but that’s one of my least concerns right now, is a bowl.”
The season is still very early to determine which teams will make it to a bowl game. However, Deion Sanders and the Buffs still maintain their sights on taking care of the business at hand.
