Thee Pregame Show’s own Uncle Neely got to chat with inside linebacker Juwan “JuJu” Mitchell about a recent FaceTime call he had with one of Deion Sanders‘ good friends.
That friend? Hall of Famer Ray Lewis.
I Was Shocked at First
Mitchell couldn’t fathom the fact that he was speaking to the Hall of Famer at first. He expressed how much it meant to him.
“I was shocked at first,” he said. “I’m like, damn. It’s just the motivation, the Hall of Fame, you know, everything he said meant a lot. Even when he answered the phone, he was biking in a mountain or something. I don’t know what he was doing, but it meant a lot.”

Mitchell went on to further express his gratitude for Coach Deion Sanders and how much he cares for his players.
“He’s going to go the long way to make sure we succeed,” Mitchell said.
