Deion Sanders doesn’t hesitate to go live on Instagram, often answering questions in the chat along the way. But this week his IG adventure took a turn when he realized one of his favorite people had logged on: soon to be Hall of Famer Devin Hester.
The amazing part of this conversation was that Sanders and Hester carried on freely as if thousands of people weren’t online listening to their every word in real time. Like Sanders does all of his friends, he immediately ribbed Hester as the former Chicago Bear was walking through his home.
“People don’t realize you’re still walking and you done took about 20 steps, but he still walking through a house so that means he’s living good,” Sanders said as the two laughed together.
Sanders ensured Hester that he would be attending his Hall of Fame induction on August 3. The Colorado team will have practice that day but Sanders told him he’d take a jet and make it a same day trip.
Like a lot people Hester was highly interested in getting an inside track on the newly re-released Nike Air Diamond Turf Max ’96 shoes. “The Deions” as they are commonly called are arguably the most popular shoe in the Deion Sanders signature series and even more so since being reintroduced.
Sanders ensured Hester he would get a package sent to him and be added to the Nike list to ensure he gets all of the latest releases.
