No one could match the flow of Deion Sanders on the football field. A lockdown corner, a return specialist and even a wide receiver. But what about his flow on the microphone? There’s a little known fact that Coach Prime once had a record contract. He tells Uncle Neely the story of being signed to Death Row Records — because he really was!
“We should reissue, remaster your album,” Constance Schwartz, Coach Prime’s business partner and manager said. “Because you were signed to Death Row.”
“I really was,” Sanders said. “And I was at the height of my endorsements I couldn’t really ride like this, but Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, all of them came down to Atlanta to start working on the album.”
