Colorado tight end coach Tim Brewster believes that every player has two pivotal moments in his day. One when he wakes up in the morning, and the other when he takes that final look into the mirror for the day.
In the morning there’s one decision that will set the cast for the remainder of one’s day.
“Attitude and effort, it’s something that you wake up and decide,” Brewster told Thee Pregame Show. With a predetermined level of effort already arriving at practice daily, the job is for Brewster to coach them into a better player.
It’s a day by day proposition, which leads to the second important moment of the day.
“The only way we can do this, the only way we can improve off of last year’s team is to get better everyday. I just asked my guys just now, did you get better or did you get worse? Nobody stays static, nobody stays the same. If you did not get better then look in the mirror, ask yourself why,” Brewster added
