Deion Sanders pulls out all the stops to get the Buffs ready. Who better to help train and prepare with than The World’s Strongest Man, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry?
Mark Henry is excited for Deion Sanders’ team and weighs in on what he’s observed at practice.
Hard Coaching
“I like the fact that he is coaching hard, and a lot of times people have fragile egos and fragile minds,” Henry said. “And when you have a coach that coaches you hard, you know, that goes a long way.”
Henry said he admires Sanders’ immersive nature with his players and his versatility as a coach, similar to how he was when he was an athlete.
“He’s out there in the middle of the field telling coaches what to do and telling players what to do at multiple positions,” he said. “It’s not like he’s just in over there with the cornerbacks”.
Working on Flexibility
Henry also emphasizes the importance of “flexibility” when it comes to strength, and his hopes to incorporate that into Sanders’ regimen with his players.
“I see the room for improvement and I see guys that are not very flexible,” he said. ” When you add flexibility, you can be stronger. We talked and I’m going to get with them this summer.”
Things could be getting very exciting for Colorado Football! Only time will tell what Deion Sanders may have next for his players.
